This article is going to walk through the process of updating a client to have a secondary email address through MLS Property Finder. At the bottom of this guide, you can also find a video demonstration for doing this.
NOTE: THIS PROCESS IS ONLY FOR CUSTOMERS USING THE RLS2000 PLATFORM
Note: We are assuming you are already logged into MLS Property Finder.
Access the Client List Page
Hover over the Client menu option on the main navigation menu and left-click on "Client List".
Find your client
You should enter your client's first name in the "First Name" field as displayed below. Similarly, enter their last name in the "Last Name" field. If the client's name appears on the lower half of the page, you can also skip this part.
Access the client's profile
Click search, and you will see a list of clients (alternatively, if you already see the client's name on the "Client List" page, you can do it there). Left-click the client's name, as below.
This will bring you to a new page with the client's information.
Edit the client's profile information
You are now on the client's profile page. As shown below, there's an area that has a few links. You want to click the one titled "Edit the profile for this client".
This will take you to a new page with a different layout. You can edit various fields here, but the one we want to focus on is the, aptly titled, "Secondary Email" field. Enter the email you wish to add there and click the button ">> Step 2".
4. Submit the updated information
You're not quite done after clicking to Step 2. This will show you the client's listing preferences. For updating the email, you can ignore this content and scroll to the button saying "Submit".
