Tip: Don't copy from another site or Word
If you're like most agents, you probably have a bio or article that you wish to publish on your site through our wide variety of features. This could be currently copied from another published site or document such as Microsoft Word.
When you copy text from Microsoft Word or any document and paste it to any areas within the Site Editor, it may try to preserve the original formatting.
However, more often than not, the formatting of the text you've copied over is not correct. For instance, Microsoft Word will try and preserve the formatting but match it to the styles in your new article within the Site Editor, which creates bad code that will not display properly on all devices.
Tip: Use Notepad to copy and paste text
If you're looking to copy an existing document or page with content that you own, it's best to paste this to a free program such as Notepad which will clear out all pre-existing formatting for you.
Once the text is in Notepad, copy it and then paste it to any feature within your Site Editor.
Within the Site Editor, you can update any formatting of the text that you wish.
Contact us if you need assistance with any formatting to ensure it's displaying properly across all devices.
