Auto-responders have to be triggered by something & the trigger you choose during setup will be important because that will be the determining action that causes your auto-responder to be sent.
Setting up auto-responder triggers based on Actions:
1. Triggering an auto-responder based on a contact being added to, or removed from, a specific contact list is a great way to get both new leads, and current contacts, started on new campaigns whenever you want
2. The important thing is that you remember which lists adding a new contact to will trigger the auto-responder, that way you don't accidentally add someone to a list they aren't supposed to be in and they get an email they weren't supposed to receive. This can be easily avoided by naming the list something easy to identify, such as "Add New Buyer Leads Here To Start On Campaign".
