To get you started with your eMerge account, you will need to first export your contacts, sort them, and then import them into eMerge.
Exporting your contacts is a very important step in getting your eMerge account set up. Exporting your contacts means that you will be downloading your contacts' data to your computer's hard drive. That file may be in an XLS or XLSX (Excel) format or in a CSV (comma separated value) format. We recommend you download all of your contacts as a CSV when possible for the quickest import into the eMerge system.
We offer steps to help you export your contacts from your email client such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Windows Live Mail, Outlook, and AOL. We also offer you the steps to export from Constant Contact, Top Producer, iCloud, and MLS-Office.
Once your contacts are exported the next step is to sort your contacts. The last step is to import your contacts into the eMerge system.
Remember, you can always enter contacts in one at a time. To do that, just click on "Contacts" in the main menu, and then click "Add Contact."
