What do I do with the lead now?
Contact them!
If you've gotten a lead, there's a good chance your prospect is currently searching for information. They are in what many call the "information gathering stage." When prospective leads enter this stage, being one of the first people that reaches out to them likely keeps you "top of mind." You may have to cultivate them for six to eighteen months before they are ready, but they will love that you and your agents have helped them gather information and maneuver the process from the very beginning.
What do I do then?
Accepted leads should be cultivated by sending them what they want, which is generally Real Estate listings. The best method is to put them on an automatic email drip campaign which shows them listings that match their criteria as they come onto the market. These leads may even have their pick of daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly as provided by the MLS.
Working Internet Leads
These leads differ from the traditional lead in that they typically move at a more accelerated pace or are ready to move to more actionable steps. For that reason, it is paramount that you reach out to them and begin cultivating a hearty relationship. When they're ready to pull that trigger, they'll remember that you were there for them from the start of their journey.
